Curry Macaroni

It's like the best of India & China
all in one pot.
When you're tired of tomato sauce, put an Indian twist on your typical pasta dish....

Ingredients

Macaroni Pasta (e.g. 225 grams or 1/2 lb.)
1 tablespoon of your favorite curry powder
onions
garlic
ginger

Instructions

Boil macaroni 5-7 minutes in salted water, til done. Add in some olive oil after draining. In a separate pan while pasta is cooking, fry garlic and onion, ginger on med low til garlic is browning. Add curry powder (I used "Pav Bhaji Masala" red curry powder from "MDH", found at Indian grocers). Next, add about 1/2c water, mix to form a sauce. Mix with pasta. At this point, you can add this as a side dish to cooked chicken or vegetables. Or you can make it a main dish, by cooking vegetables in the curry sauce, or adding cooked chicken or vegetables to the sauce.

Yields: 1-2
